Aorta is an online platform for people interested in a better food culture. Founded in Copenhagen with international ambitions, Aorta aims to create a community of people with an honest approach to growing ideas about all things edible. Aorta is written, told and photographed by chefs, eaters and thinkers who actively invest in developing a richer, more flavorful, diverse and sustainable food culture.  

Aorta is published by Food Organisation of Denmark (FOOD), a small not for profit organisation established to promote and develop Danish and Nordic food and gastronomy. We help those who develop better, sustainable and creative foods to get attention and aid their attempts to get the recognition and the business we believe they deserve. FOOD is supported by a combination of public and private funds.
